Multi-faceted emcee, artist and producer, Problem. Has been on a real roll this year, both in and out of music. Releasing the hilarious playful and fun video for his, Don’t Be Mad At Me Remix, just a little over a couple of weeks ago.
He doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon either. As the Compton native today debuted his new Mike Marasco-directed video for his new single, NOTHIN. That features Jack Harlow and longtime collaborator and friend of Problem, Jay Rock. The entrepreneuruel like anthem is produced by Problem, Mike & Keys and 2fo.
With the new visual playing to that entrepreneurship like status of the Westcoast veteran. It plays up to Problem’s coffee and kush mentality. As it sees both him and Harlow at Chace Infinite’s Harun Coffee Shop in Leimert Park. That serves Problem’s newest business venture Green Hour Coffee, that’s featured throughout the new video. With both Harlow and Prob (minus Rock, who for whatever reason isn’t featured in the video), enjoying their own fix of coffee and kush.
It shows that it’s not just a business or music, but way of life. With Problem himself having the following to say in a statement about the new video, “This video is an ode to the Coffee and Kush movement. We get up and get to it! Day time, coffee, weed, boss talk, LA. It gets no better than that.”
The record is also the lead single from the upcoming second installment of Problem’s Coffee & Kush album trilogy. That’s set for a Sept. 18th release via Diamond Lane Music Group/Rostrum Records. It follows the first installment that Problem released back in May.
