A very cinematic and killer insane new visual that really helps brings what’s easily the most beautifully heart-wrenching and moving record of the album, truly to life. As it finds Jessie at a barn drowning in all of her sorrows with a bottle of liquor and a sawed-off shotgun as she awaits for the arrival of her ex. Singing the very emotionally heartbreaking and very moving tear-jerking lyrics about how much she fought to be with a lover/ex, that she should’ve just left. Those beautifully tear-jerking lyrics are brought even more to life with those killer shots Peter was able to capture of Jessie with the shotgun when her kidnappers bring him to her. Where she unveils his mask for a supposed killer execution. Or does she forgive his crazy instead? You have to watch to find out.
Either way, you know she once again truly puts the ART in artist to show why she’s a truly great to the core artist in every sense of the word. From her cinematically beautiful always movie-like visuals to her just as cinematic and truly beautifully, yet heart-wrenching songs about love. You can see why Jessie is one of mine and so many others, if not absolute favorite artist right now. Definitely somewhere in the top 5 or 10 and possibly even higher with what great art she always delivers to us and most of us can relate to.
