Skyzoo & Dumbo Station Have Good Enough Reasons, On Feel-Good New Single

Brooklyn emcee Skyzoo recently got to live out a lifelong dream last year when he released his very critically-acclaimed collaboration album with Pete Rock, Retropolitan.  While now with his newest collaboration album with nu-jazz band, Dumbo Station, entitled, The Bluest Note, set for release at the month on April 24th.  He gets to check another one off his bucket list.

Despite frequently performing and recording with live musicians, the BK emcee has never recorded a full project with a jazz band till now.  Meeting Dumbo Station in 2017, on tour in Italy.  They began a relationship that led to recording sessions in June of last year.  And the end result lived up to the rapper’s expectations.

“As much as I’ve incorporated my favorite genre of music with my other favorite genre of music, this is the first time I’ve been able to craft an entire project based on jazz production from top to bottom,” Skyzoo told Complex. “From writing musical arrangements with them and having them bring them to life in the studio in Rome, Italy; it was a perfect union and execution of what I foresaw when I began to sketch out the project.”

As we wait for the end result at the end of the month.  Skyzoo and Dumbo Station also premiered through Complex, the very feel-good lead single, Good Enough Reasons.  Which sees the Sky so seamlessly and effortlessly bring his jazzy and feel-good raps on this brand new track in a time we all need something so feel-good.
