Global mega superstar, living icon and 15-time GRAMMY-award winning singer and songwriter, Alicia Keys, was already set for a pretty big 2020 and first year of the new decade. With her highly-anticipated seventh solo album, ALICIA, set for release this year. Not to mention her hosting The GRAMMYS for a second straight year this coming Sunday, Jan. 26th, a day after her 39th birthday on Jan. 25th. As well as getting set to release her upcoming memoir, More Myself: A Journey on March 31st.
While yesterday after revealing the exciting news about the albums release date of March 20th via RCA Records to go with the beautifully stunning cover art for the album. Alicia has more exciting news to make this even bigger of a year.
As earlier today she revealed her long-awaited return to the stage and touring with the announcement of her first headlining tour in seven years with the, ALICIA – THE WORLD TOUR. That also comes on the heels of her releasing a few weeks ago her very empowering and motivationally uplifting new single and anthem for all the underdogs out there with the appropriately titled, Underdog.
Keys will play not only records from the new album, but of course her repertoire of worldwide hits to iconic venues across North America and Europe, including a stop at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in her hometown of New York City. The celebrated singer, songwriter and producer will visit major cities on both continents including London, Paris, Berlin, Atlanta, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and more on the tour, which is of course produced by Live Nation.
