Aside from the collaboration EP Terrace Martin released with Salaam Remi back in June, it has been awhile since we heard something new solo wise from Martin. That recently changed though, as late Thursday night, Terrace debuted his very beautifully jazzy and soulful new single, All I Own. That finds him over the very mellow drums and soothing piano-laden keys on his production giving such a feel good performance of self-reflection and honesty on the introspective new cut.
Also releasing it’s very beautiful accompanying video, which Martin himself and Avo John directed. The beautiful imagery in the visual that focuses on the streets of Los Angeles that he walks on and calls home, really help bring the simple, yet amazingly introspective lyrics to life in the mostly black-and-white clip. That changes into color a few times throughout, but most notably when Martin himself makes a brief cameo at the end of the new visual for the amazing new record.
Both the record and video such authentic pieces of art. That shows what a truly great artist, producer, musician and genuinely dope great artist that Martin is.
