Chicago emcee, youth mentor and artist manager, Navarro, is one of the most skilled and humble emcees not only in Chicago, but all of Hip-Hop. An artist who spits thoughtful and insightful rhymes about the struggles he has gone through or is still going through. Which many of us can relate to.
On Navarro’s latest new release, Reborn, which he released late last night as a gift to all of his fans, supporters, family and friends, who showed him love for his birthday yesterday. It finds the Chicago emcee over the smooth piano backdrop doing so with such rhymes as, “Out here reckless and misunderstood cause as a kid I had to face some kind of s**t. I never faced the demons like I wish I did. Deep in bed with depression. Fvck your confessions, my pen and my pad is like a therapy session.”
The Chicago emcee describing that along with some of the other struggles and things he had to go through to be reborn into a better father, emcee, artist and just human being throughout the just over two-minute track. Navarro even showing on part of the track how he is one of the few bilingual emcees we have that not only rhymes in both English and Spanish, but does it dope and the way it should be. This is definitely a track that all Hip-Hop fans should listen to and truly shows how you truly emcee the right way.
