Very beautifully talented singer and songwriter Jessie Reyez just a couple of days ago premiered the heartwreching and symbolically deep new video for her standout record, Saint Nobody, from her very stellar EP, Being Human In Public, she released back in October. Looking to perhaps make up for lost time, Reyez also just yesterday premiered through Zane Lowe’s very popular Beats 1 radio show, the very amazing and emotionally honest new remix featuring 6LACK for yet another very standout record from the project, Imported.
Originally featuring JRM, Reyez, liked the record so much she decided to update it into a duet with the very talented upcoming Atlanta singer and songwriter. She didn’t waste any time in premiering the records accompanying new Zac Facts-directed video today through Vevo too.
An intimately sensual new clip that finds the two artists sitting back to back and Reyez than sitting in a tub full of water, as well as the two wandering around an empty house, before 6LACK rides off. Right as they both sing the sensually and emotionally honest lyrics about crisis identity, going through relationship issues and unequal expectations two people have in a relationship full of temptation.
The new visual really helps bring the very amazing duet from Reyez and 6LACK to life for what was an already very great record with how it shows the many empty times, together times, as well as wandering off into space times that two people go through in a broken relationship that has unequal expectations and facing the crisis identity they have of just themselves in a relationship like that. While also showing that the two definitely need to collaborate a lot more together in the future.
