Marsha Ambrosius Set To Hit Chicago’s Patio Theater For Highly-Anticipated, NYLA Tour

There has been many very talented singer and songwriter’s over the years, but not many with quite as big and great a resume as former Floetry member, Marsha Ambrosius.  Who has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Dr. Dre, Nas, Busta Rhymes, The Game, A Tribe Called Quest, Alicia Keys, Common and Queen Latifah, among several others.

Singing several hooks that are among your favorites and you probably didn’t even know it.  Ambrosius had a very great start to her career with Natalie Stewart as part of Floetry in the early 2000s, before becoming a go to name for several big name artists in Hip-Hop like the aforementioned above, as well as several others.  Which was her way to branch off into her just as successful, if not more successful solo career that started with her mixtape, Neo Soul is Dead, she released in 2007.

While with her latest critically-acclaimed third solo album, NYLA, that she released in September of last year, Ambrosius just recently started her latest headlining tour the, NYLA Tour, that kicked off in Las Vegas on January 27th.  Which is in support of the album.

A very talented performer, as well as singer and songwriter, she’s set to hit Chicago’s Patio Theater here in Chicago next weekend on Saturday, February 9th for one of the more anticipated performances for not only fans, but I’m sure herself as well of the whole tour.  A very intimate 29-trek city tour, which she also has the also very beautifully talented singer and songwriter, Elle Varner joining her on as her supporting act.

Making the tour as a whole one of the most anticipated tours of the year by many.  For all of the talented great performances you will be able to see from two of the most talented, yet still somehow underappreciated voices, singers and songwriter’s in all of music right now across any genre.  If you are here in Chicago next weekend and want to have a really good time out listening to some of that great live soul music with just as great soulful performances you will be sure to remember for years to come, don’t miss Marsha and Elle’s sure to be very stellar performances at Patio Theater and grab your tickets before they are gone.
