Homegrown Chicago-area native, Kweku Collins from Evanston, Illinois and part of homegrown Chicago label, Closed Sessions, who’s roster keeps expanding to bigger and better things is back after a bit of a hiatus. Not dropping anything since last year back in December, Kweku drops his first offering of 2018 as we are already at the halfway point of the year. Teaming with his labelmate and one of the more recently new members of Closed Sessions, Ajani Jones, on Sisko and Kasidy. Which finds Kweku over the spacey production rapping about a summer fling and the uncertainty that comes with the fling. Jones adding a nice touch with the distorted, yet catchy chorus. The title of the track is a reference to the black commanders in, Star Trek, Deep Space Nine. The new track, which shows what great chemistry the two labelmates have already developed in such a short time can be heard below and is sure to be in rotation for many beyond just these hot Summer months.
