Noted jazz pianist Robert Glasper is set to release his new Miles Davis inspired project, Everything’s Beautiful next month. A project in which Glasper reworks classics of the jazz trumpet titan and after releasing the Bilal-assisted Ghetto Walkin in early March, yesterday Glasper released the very beautiful, Violet. A very soulful and reflective jam with North Carolina vets and former Little Brother members 9th Wonder and Phonte, which flips one of Davis’ most known records, Blue in Green. As 9th with his production assistance adds the just right sampling he’s known for and Phonte’s introspective bars make for the perfect marriage to complete such an amazing record.
