The upcoming Pepsi Super Bowl 50 halftime show is getting a lot more star power, as Pepsi confirmed Thursday that Beyoncé will indeed be joining Coldplay to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
What was first a rumor is now indeed confirmed true and that Queen Bey will be performing at the Feb. 7th show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The news comes a little over a month after it was announced that the popular Rock group would be performing the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
This will be the second time in three years that B is a performer at the Super Bowl halftime show, as she also performed as the headliner for the 2013 Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans at the Superdome, where she was joined by her former Destiny’s Child group mates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Beyoncé and Coldplay recently collaborated on the bands latest album, A Head Full of Dreams, with the song, Hymn for the Weekend.
There is no word on if the two will just perform that song together or if the 34-year-old singer will also perform her songs as well.
