Lil Wayne Suing Birdman’s Cash Money for $51 Million and Want To Bring Drake, Nicki Minaj And Young Money With Him!

Looks like Lil Wayne and the strife between his Cash Money boss Birdman just keeps growing bigger by the day.  As TMZ has exclusively learned that Wayne plans on going all out against the label he’s called home for his whole career by filing a lawsuit against Birdman and company to end his contract with the label.

He not only wants to end his contract to seek his freedom so he can release his long-awaited and delayed Tha Carter 5 album, but is seeking $51 million in his suit.  Claiming that he was supposed to get an $8 million advance when he began recording in December 2013 and another $2 million when he completed the album.  So far he says he has received not a penny and it’s not known where the rest of the money in the suit is from.

Wayne is also seeking to bring Drake, Nicki Minaj and all his Young Money roster with him too.  Who he wants the judge to declare he’s the joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings.  It just keeps getting messier and messier between both parties who once upon a time seemed so inseparable and it should be interesting to see how it all plays out.
