2012 Golden Globe Awards winners list

Here is the complete list of all the winners of The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards hosted by Ricky Gervais. It was held at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California and simulcast live in HD coast-to-coast on NBC on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 8:00pm – 11:00pm (EST) and 5:00pm – 8:00pm (PST).

Sweeping the Golden Globe Awards is The Artist with three wins including Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical, Best Original Score and Jean Dujardin as Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical. Followed by The Descendants with two wins including Best Motion Picture – Drama and George Clooney with Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. Meryl Streep wins Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron LadyMartin Scorsese wins Best Director for Hugo andWoody Allen wins Best Screenplay for Midnight in Paris.

Showtime’s Homeland gets two wins including Best Television Series – Drama and Claire Danes as Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.Modern Family wins Best Television Series – Comedy Or MusicalKelsey Grammer (Boss) and Matt LeBlanc(Episodes) win Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series in Drama and Comedy or Musical respectively. Kate Winslet wins Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her performance inMildred Pierce.

The People’s Favorite Movie Icon Morgan Freemanreceived a standing ovation as the winner of the Cecil B. DeMille Award, presented to him by Sidney Poitier, who  received the Cecil B. DeMille Award in 1982.
