Galaxy S 2 Confirmed For Late July Release From Sprint

The good folks over at Android Spin are stating that come late July, that everybody’s favorite pin dropping network, Sprint, will be releasing its own version of the techno beast that is the Samsung Galaxy S2. Calling it the Samsung Within, its late July release date has been confirmed by someone from within Sprint itself.

This is wonderful news for Sprint, as they really seem to stepping its game up when it comes to powerful Android handsets. Specs for this monster of a handset are as follows:

Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen

Touch Wiz UI
8mp rear facing camera w/autofocus and LED flash

2mp front facing camera for video chat

Dual core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor Mali-400MP GPU, Orion chipset

Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Summertime is looking really good for Sprint customers.
