“The Wire” actress Felicia Pearson has pleaded not guilty to conspiring to sell heroin.
The one-time drug dealer in real life was arrested along with 37 other suspects during a March 10th raid by police in Baltimore, Maryland on an alleged drugs ring.
Pearson, who was jailed for more than six years for killing a woman when she was just 14, was later released after being held on charges of conspiring to sell heroin, in addition to counts of aiding and abetting.
The actress appeared in court May 17 for an arraignment at the Baltimore Circuit Court and denied any wrongdoing.
A trial was set for August 9.
