It turns out that those who believed the BlackBerry Storm 3 was abandoned were wrong – new footage of the device has made its way to the Internet, showing the Storm 3 – also known as the BlackBerry Monaco – in action.
The person who posted the video originally took it down pretty quick though, but it was up for plenty of time to be downloaded and re-uploaded by others, who’ve made copies of the video available all around the Internet.
According to Crackberry, the Storm 3 will debut with a 3.7″ display (15:9 aspect ratio), has 768MB of RAM and will be powered by a Qualcomm processor that ticks at 1.2 GHz. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera with built-in flash and support for 720p video recording, 4GB of built-in storage and the ability to expand it to 32 GB through a microSD card.
There’s also GPS/WiFi support, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, Mobile HotSpot support, a micro USB port, a magnetometer, accelerometer and proximity sensor.
There’s not much regarding the Storm 3 release date, so don’t get your hopes too high, we may have to wait for this one. Can you spell May?
