The Arrival of Wu-Massacre

When fans of the legendary Wu-tang Clan heard there would be a new album releasing, fans everywhere could feel their hands forming the familiar “W” symbol. This, however, was something a bit different than what some fans expected. This was a blend of pure lyrical overkill. ‘Wu Massacre’, formed from the groups own lyrical powerhouses “Tical” Method Man, “The Chef” Raekwon and “Tony Starks” Ghostface Killah. These three mc’s form a 3-headed beast unleashing lyrical fury all over the album.

The album launches into a full-on attack as the Killah bees trade bars on a updated reprisal of  Rae’s Criminology with “Criminology 2.5” true to form. The attack continues in to visit the classic “Tical” Method Man album with “Meth vs Chef 2.” The album moves seamlessly, from cut-throat to cool, with tracks like “Our Dreams” over a soulful sample from the late great Michael Jackson. They open the briefcase on tracks like “gunshowers” and by then the album becomes a certified “Wu-Massacre.” The album features production from RZA and the incomparable Mathematics with 3 limited edition comic style covers designed by Alex Haldi and Chris Bachalo.
