iPad preorder is a go

iPad preoder is a go, says Engadget. Order now, see your new toy on April 3rd.

ZDnet asks, “iPad: Should I pre-order or wait?” And answers, “There’s nothing wrong with being an early adopter of technology, as long as you’re aware of the fact that it is a roller coaster ride consisting of both ups (the big where you go “wheeeee” and “this is cool”), and downs (the bits where you are screaming, going “ughhhhh” and “I feel like throwing up”).”

The Register reads, “Pre-orders are for US customers only for both Wi-Fi and 3G models. 3G models start at $629 for a 16GB device.”
