50 Cent Looking For A Rapper To Compete With

50-cent

50 Cent wants a competitor, and he wants one now. After the success of his 2007 album face-off with Kanye West ending with Kanye outselling the rapper, 50 Cent is ready for round two but this time with someone new.

As reported, 50 Cent’s album Before I Self Destruct is due in stores on November 23 after receiving numerous push backs that date back to last year. 50 won’t be the only artist releasing an album the week of November 23; Pop artists Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are also scheduled to drop albums that week.

The competition gets even more heated; with the recent announcement of the highly anticipated album from Rihanna receiving a November 23 release date along with Timbaland’s album Shock Value 2, 50 may have more competition than he bargained for.

Despite the high level of competition, 50 Cent is excited for the album battle he has conjured up for himself; in fact, he wants a rap album to compete with.

This is a great competition, you mean to tell me I get the chance to go into a battle against pop singers? I don’t see myself in competition with artists that aren’t even in the same genre. Could you find a rapper for me to compete with please? Now I gotta fight Justin? I’m gonna fight him and kick his a**! – RapBasement

The week of November 23 is shaping up to be a week of great music. With Pop’s favorites Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Rihanna dropping albums paired with 50 Cent releasing his album and Mary J. Blige releasing her album Stronger the day after, music fanatics will be in for a treat and well deserved excitement to actually purchase albums.
