Since the election there figures to be a carosuel of openings in the United States Congress and Senate. Most of the speculation is behind the senate seat that President-Elect Obama will leave behind in the senate, but now that Hilary Clinton has been announced as Secretary of State, who will take her vacancy as the New York Senator?
According to ABC News the New York Governor David Patterson has talked with Caroline Kennedy, the niece of Robert F. Kennedy who once held that same seat himself. I don’t know how much say Hilary Clinton has in the decision but Caroline Kennedy endorsed Obama over Hilary during his campaign to become the Democratic Nominee. Hopefully since her new high profile appointment all bad blood is gone.
