Prior to the trial of George Zimmerman there will be a hearing to determine the validity of Zimmerman’s “Stand Your Ground” rights in the killing of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin. This self defensive stance is pivotal to how the actual trial will be framed.
According to gzlegalcase.com:
In the case against George Zimmerman, a “Stand Your Ground” hearing will essentially be a mini-trial. Most of the arguments, witnesses, experts, and evidence that the defense would muster in a criminal trial will be presented in the “Stand Your Ground” hearing.

Your eyes do not deceive you. This is a party flyer from a venue in Australia, fully themed after the respective colors of the notorious Crip & Blood street gangs. The product of inner city drugs, crime and social disenfranchisement the Bloods & Crips have spread nation wide and across the globe bringing death and negativity as a common call card. Yet through the glamorization of the gang culture via much of mainstream Hip Hop culure, we get stuff like this in the far corners of the world. In places where the actual pain and suffereing dont get seen, all you have are the cool dancing around, talking tough in colors and apparently they have fans….in the most unexpected places.

While playing basketball with his sons, concerned father Tommy Brown crossed the street to ask John O. Hill to stop shooting his gun for the safety of the kids in the area. Tommy was declared DOA and Thalia died later at the hospital adding to the recent body count of innocent American citizens. Hill was arrested after a brief standoff. 10 firearms were found in his home. He is being charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder.
Authorities Fear that 50 Cent’s Free Concert In Queens Will Turn Violent
August 17th, 2009 | By SanaArshad in News | 1 Comment »
50 Cent is secretly planning to stage a free concert in a schoolyard near the Queens projects where he grew up, and where he was nearly fatally shot — sparking a wave of fear in the community and prompting cops to prepare for the worst.
“We can’t control the area,” warned one law-enforcement source, noting that the performance on the grounds of PS 40 in Jamaica will be part of “an outdoor event — people could walk in from anywhere.” “Someone’s gonna try to make a name for themselves,” another worried source added. “They’re gonna take a shot at him, and they’re either gonna hit him or they’re gonna miss him and hit some poor, innocent kid or grandmother.

October 27th, 2008 | By hiphopdemocrat in Change, Social Issues | 2 Comments »“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”- Psalm 23
News broke this morning related to the Hudson family tragedy. The white Suburban was found on the west side of Chicago with a young boys body. HORRIBLE NEWS….and it made me just pray, because in times like this that’s all we can do, PRAY. For the
families that are affected by this tragedy, for the law enforcement officials that worked night in day to bring justice and closure to the incident, for the supporters who continuously prayed for a small glimmer of light in this dark situation, for the victims of these terrible crimes, and last but not least for the individual(s) who committed the crime.
