Lady Gaga‘s lawyers have given a London-based maker of human breast-milk ice cream until March 9, 2011 to change the name of its specialty ice cream, Baby Gaga, claiming intellectual property violations.

In a cease-and-desist letter sent to The Icecreamists last week, Gaga’s attorneys slammed the breast-milk ice cream maker for capitalizing on Lady Gaga’s popularity to promote its products.

Doesn’t Want Name Associated With Hepatitis Risk

Lady Gaga, through her lawyers, also insists the breast-milk ice cream may be unhealthy because of the risk of hepatitis infection.

Last night many Chris Brown fans who were upset that Chris Brown lost the “Best Male R&B” Award to Usher.  According to the twitter page of Neon Limelight, a pop culture site that was backstage at the award show, Chris Brown was scheduled to receive the award, but when it was announced, the honors went to Usher. They wrote:

Guys! We are sooooo sorry! This teleprompter backstage had Chris’ name on it!

It even said he couldn’t be there to accept! Something shady just went down! So sorry guys!

Twenty-five years after an all-star roster of talent gathered to record ‘We Are the World’ to aid famine relief in Africa, a new generation has re-interpreted the Grammy-winning track to benefit Haiti this week. Rolling Stone reported among the stars heading to the studio tonight were Jay-Z, Eminem, Pink, Kanye West, Bono, Wyclef Jean, Jennifer Hudson, Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga.

The music world took the charitable cause of aiding famine relief in Africa to heart in the mid-1980s, raising millions in the process. After Bob Geldof’s BandAid rang the alarm with “Do They Know It’s Christmas” in 1984, America’s own Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie and the late Michael Jackson answered with the anthem “We Are the World” in support of USA for Africa.

50 Cent wants a competitor, and he wants one now. After the success of his 2007 album face-off with Kanye West ending with Kanye outselling the rapper, 50 Cent is ready for round two but this time with someone new.

As reported, 50 Cent’s album Before I Self Destruct is due in stores on November 23 after receiving numerous push backs that date back to last year. 50 won’t be the only artist releasing an album the week of November 23; Pop artists Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are also scheduled to drop albums that week.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Kanye West and Lady Gaga have cancelled their “Fame Kills” tour.  Looks like Lady Gaga will be going on tour after all, with or without Kanye West.  Looks like she keeps it in the family, the G.O.O.D. music family, that is. Instead of Kanye West, she will be bringing along rap newcomer (and Kanye West protege) Kid Cudi, who will perform songs from his debut album Man on the Moon: The End of the Day.  This might help boost the lackluster sales of his album.

It’s dissapointing that “Attention Deficit” won’t be out in September, but in the meantime you can keep bumpin’ Wale’s top notch Back To The Feature mixtape.

“Mr Nike Boots” Wale announced to his fans via Twitter that his album originally slated for a September release, will be pushed back to October. The DMV (D.C./ Maryland/ Virginia) MC tweeted to his fans Thursday night saying:

“Album pushed back..got more work to do..its a small thing to a boss.”

He then followed up Friday morning explaining to his fans that clearing samples were the reason for the pushback and expressing interest in touring on college campuses.
