Geto Boys rapper Bushwick Bill was in Atlanta Immigration Court yesterday (July 16th) where he is facing deportation to his native homeland of Jamaica.

Rumors about Bushwick Bill’s status as a citizen in the United States was questioned shortly after the VH1 2010 Hip Hop Honors in June, after the pint-sized rapper missed a dedication to Rap-A-Lot Records’ founder, James Prince.

As of press time, it is believed that Bushwick Bill was arrested and charged with a crime presumably “soliciting.”

Atlanta’s Creative Loafing reports that the nature of the charges that prompted the deportation proceedings is not yet known.

Tea Party Express spokesman Mark Williams made an appearance CNN Wednesday and made an unexpected comment to journalist Roland Martin.

The two men were debating on an episode of “The Situation Room: With Wolf Blitzer” when the Tea Party spokesman took a controversial swipe at the National Association for The Advancement Of Colored People.

A transcript of the interview shows Martin telling Williams that he should shun racists from the tea party and tell them they’re “not welcome”.

The tea party leader responds and accuses the NAACP of racism calling them a bunch of “old fossils” trying to profit from skin color.

BP holding someone at "Gunpoint" with a gas pump

Finally! Yesterday for the first time BP  has managed to cap the flow since the blowout on April 20 which has caused the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history.

If you couldn’t do the math quick enough its been nearly 3 months of oil continuously gushing into the Gulf of Mexico at an alarming rate. Lets take a look at the final numbers…Since April 21st when it was reported that NO oil was leaking, oil has been pouring into the ocean at a rate of at least 35,000 US barrels a day – a total of 3,010,000 barrels. That is 105,266,671 gallons – enough to fill 191.4 Olympic swimming pools, nearly five times.
