As well as SZA, Tinashe, Jorja Smith, Kehlani, Nicole Bus, Sinéad Harnett, Kiana Ledé, Chloe x Halle, Ravyn Lenae and Jessie Reyez. To name just a few. While one name that has emerged in more recent years, is Queen Naija. Whose silky smooth sultry vocals are among some of the more recognizable in R&B/Soul right now and also has her among the genres most talented artists as well.
Releasing her critically-acclaimed debut album, misunderstood, back in 2020. Naija, has since that point collaborated with the likes of the legendary Babyface on, Game Over, back in September from his Girls Night Out album he released last year and also toured with another living legend, Mary J. Blige. Who she opened for on MJB’s, Good Morning Gorgeous Tour, last Fall.
Naija appears to be readying her currently untitled and sure to be highly-anticipated sophomore album for sometime this year. Releasing the single, Let’s Talk About It, back in January. Just a few days into 2023 and is now back today with her very silky smooth new single, Words of Affirmation. A very silky smooth Mike Wood-produced record that sees Naija showing off her very silky smooth sultry vocals. As she sings affirmations about a love she wants to give her more communication, affirmations and appreciation, about her being a good enough love for them. Like she also sings on part of the chorus.
