Today Rome Streetz released his very highly-anticipated debut album with Griselda Records, KISS THE RING. That like virtually all Griselda album’s was executive produced and fully curated by core Griselda/GXFR founder, Westside Gunn. Equipped at 17 tracks with production mostly from Griselda in-house producer’s Conductor Williams, Camouflage Monk, Daringer and Denny Laflare. As well as frequent Griselda collaborators DJ Green Lantern and The Alchemist. Plus Sadugold and Sovren. With the lone features being from his fellow Griselda labelmates Westside, Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, Stove God Cooks, Armani Caesar and Boldy James.
In conjunction with and to celebrate the album’s long awaited release. Rome also debuted today the new Daily Gems and Gee Media co-directed video for one of the album’s most standout tracks, Non Factor. Which is also the lone Westside Gunn featured track and finds both Rome and WSG driving around and roaming the streets of their New York City home at night. It also features concert footage of Rome and Gunn. With the dark and grimey nighttime backdrop perfect to bring both of their dark and grimey intricate lyrics even more to life.
