Prince Angelus Drops New Single, LA in the Summertime

Nearly two months after dropping his latest single, Hawthorne Baby. Los Angeles emcee, Prince Angelus, is back with his second single of the year, LA in the Summertime.

The new single finding Angelus over the thumping production. Rapping about the real street reality that goes on in a lot of Los Angeles neighborhood’s in the Summertime. Not the always glitz and glamor most think or see L.A. portrayed as. Lyrics like, “Bodies got to piling up. The start of just another war and furthermore. That’s just, LA in the Summertime.” As well as, “It be cracking in my section. Ratchet in them intersections. Ain’t no passes. No exceptions. Bullets fly in all directions. With no names on ‘em. Popped out tripping. Shorty banged on ‘em.” Hitting home for those who grew up in or know others. Who grew up in the streets of LA during the Summertime.
