Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak Form New Group, Silk Sonic, Drop Debut Video/Single, Leave The Door Open

In one of the unlikeliest of collaborators we knew we needed. Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have teamed together to form the silky smooth new group, Silk Sonic. That they first announced last week via social media.

While now just as they promised last week. They delivered on that promise by dropping their debut single as a band/duo yesterday, Friday, March 5th. With the very funky silky smooth slow jam, Leave The Door Open. That was produced by Mars and D’ Mile. The latter really producing a lot of your favorite R&B/Soul records over the past year. That includes everyone from Victoria Monét to Joyce Wrice and the legendary Charlie Wilson.

The duo of Mars and Anderson also debuting alongside the single. The accompanying new Mars and Florent Dechard co-directed video. That sees the duo just jamming in the retro studio with the rest of their band. For the retro-inspired visuals that also see a group of female fans grooving along on the other side of the studio.

Lookout for more silky smooth amazing grooves from Silk Sonic. As their highly-anticipated debut collaboration album, An Evening With Silk Sonic. Is set to drop later this year.
