Nasty C & Ari Lennox Drop Fun & Playful New Video, Black And White

Around last Spring/Summer, Def Jam and Universal Music Group launched their new Def Jam-helmed label, Def Jam Africa. With rapper, Nasty C, as one of the flagship artists to help launch the label. Also releasing his third solo album, Zulu Man with Some Power, as the only album released through the label so far in August of last year.

One of the standout records from the album being the Ari Lennox featured, Black and White. While today Nasty returns to said track by debuting earlier today the very fun and playful new Kyle White-directed accompanying video for it. That sees Ari playing his love interest.

The very fun and playful new visual. Seeing a love story shown from the perspectives of both lovers from thousands of miles apart. With Ari residing in her hometown of D.C. and Nasty staying put in Cape Town, South Africa. The video showing them and all of us as a reminder, that although there’s a great distance between them. You do what what you can to keep the connection strong by sending cute messages, thoughtful gifts, and more.

The track was released as the next single and second video from Nasty C’s album. Also because it is being featured on the upcoming, Rhythms of Zamunda, compilation album. A collection of originals from African artists inspired by the highly anticipated comedy film, Coming 2 America. That Def Jam Recordings and Def Jam Africa announced earlier today would be released in conjunction with the film’s release on Friday, March 5, 2021.
