Freddie Gibbs & ScHoolboy Q Are Throwing Up, Gang Signs, On New Single

Freddie Gibbs had easily one of the best albums of last year when he dropped his critically-acclaimed and Grammy Award-nominated collaboration album with The Alchemist, Alfredo. Looking to build off that momentum too, Gibbs today dropped his very smooth and laidback new single, Gang Signs. That features TDE’s ScHoolboy Q.

The first record released from Gibbs here in the new year and 2021. As you could probably tell from the title of the track. It’s one that finds both Gibbs and Q rapping about their respective sets and reflect on how their gang, as well as street infused pasts. Influenced their hustling motivations and dreams to make it in Hip-Hop/Rap.

Both Gangsta Gibbs and Groovy Q also releasing a very creative and funny animated accompanying video that has both emcees playing off the tortoise and hare element. Really helping bring this new banger and long overdue collaboration from both emcees to life. In a way that only they could.
