We Are KING Makes Long Overdue Return With New Name & Out Of This World New Single, Space Oddity

It’s actually quite funny how as recently as just two and a half or so days ago. I said after a recent Facebook memory came up on my page that was about me listening to KING’s Grammy Award-nominated timeless debut album, We Are King. How it was time to revisit that album again and hopefully the group of identical twin sisters Paris and Amber Strother had some long overdue new music on the way.

As if the heavens aligned. Here we are today with brand new music from KING, who has also changed their name to, We Are KING. As they release their very spacious and out of this world dreamy new single, Space Oddity. A very sonically amazing re-imagining and cover of legendary late singer, David Bowie’s classic single of the same name. That was released today on what would have been Bowie’s 73rd birthday.

It’s also the first single from an upcoming David Bowie tribute album, Modern Love. That’s set to be released in the near future by BBE Music. So while it isn’t a new album from, We Are KING. Hopefully it’s a sign that they actually have started to record new music to put out a long overdue sophomore album. That would god willing be released sometime this year or in the near future.
