Los Angeles singer and songwriter, Jhené Aiko was recently nominated for three GRAMMYs at the upcoming 2021 GRAMMYs. Including being nominated for Album of the Year for the first time with her very critically-acclaimed latest solo album, CHILOMBO.
So it’s only right that today a few days after being nominated, Jhené returns to the album. With the debut video, just a few short hours ago through her Vevo of easily one of the most standout records on the album, Born Tired. A record that is so beautiful and just plain classic with the way it truly touches your soul.
Which is why it’s only right that such a beautifully touching record get a just as fun and beautifully touching accompanying video. That is a very fun and intimate family-oriented visual as well. That shows Jhené enjoying time in Hawaii with her immediate family. That is clips of the very fun and beautiful times they spent with each other and in nature. During the period that she recorded the album there. Showing that even when you may grow tired of family, they are the ones who will always be there for you in the end, no matter what. Jhené’s album and this time most are now spending with family (mostly immediate) for an even longer extended period here in 2020. Giving a clearer 20/20 vision to show the importance of the little things, like family. That a lot of people may have took for granted before.
