Nearly three months after dropping his very well received street album, Flygod Is An Awesome God 2. Griselda Records head and founder Westside Gunn is back with his very highly-anticipated major label debut album on Shady Records, WHO MADE THE SUNSHINE.
The first solo album from Griselda on their major label deal with Shady. It’s also the first Griselda/Shady Records release since, WWCD, last November.
The 11-track effort, which could also be one of Gunn’s last albums. Of course finds features from his Griselda labelmates, Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, Boldy James and Armani Caesar. As well as features from several of the biggest names in Hip-Hop. Such as Slick Rick, Black Thought, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes. As well as the likes of regular collaborators AA Rashid, Keisha Plum and Steve God Cooks. Plus Flee Lord, ElCamino, Smoke DZA, and Estee Nack. With production from regular collaborator and in-house producers, Daringer and Beat Butcha. As well as regular Griselda collaborative producers, The Alchemist and Conductor Williams. Plus the first ever Griselda production from legendary producer, Just Blaze.
