Billy Danze and Lil’ Fame of M.O.P. Have brought some of the most gutter and hardcore Hip-Hop in history in their nearly 30 years. Whether together as a group or even both solo in recent years.
Fame was the first to go solo. But Billy Danze has also went solo within the past couple of years. Releasing last year, his, Six Pack EP and his debut solo album, The Bakers Dozen. Danze is already set to release his next solo work, We Busy. A collaborative album with Swiss producer, TooBusy.
With Danze and TooBusy releasing today the very amazing new lead single, Take a Step. That features longtime M.O.P. affiliate and legendary fellow New Yorker, DJ Premier. The very soulfully funky backdrop on the track perfect for Danze’s very hard and braggadocios lyrics about why he’s been among the best emcees for so long.
If this is more of what we can expect from the album. We are definitely about to get one of the best albums of the year in not only Hip-Hop, but music period. When this drops in a little over a month on Oct. 18th. Especially with the list of features too. That includes collaborations with DJ Premier, Method Man, Havoc, Lil Fame, Cormega and Daz Dillinger.
