The LOX Are, Bout Shit, On New Single ft. DMX

Nearly four years after The LOX dropped their third album and first under Roc Nation, Filthy America… It’s Beautiful. The legendary trio of Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch, is set to drop their highly-anticipated fourth album, Living Off Experience. In another week and a half on, Aug. 28th.

Revealing the cover art and tracklist for the album within the past few days. As well as a pre-order for the album. The LOX return today with one of the albums most anticipated tracks, Bout Shit. Which features longtime collaborator and their fellow former Ruff Ryders labelmate, DMX.

The hard-hitting new Scram Jones-produced track finding X doing double duty, providing the hook and a guest verse over the very soulful and gritty growling backdrop. That has him sounding as hungry as ever. With such verses as, “N***as talk about battle, but they ain’t battle dog (Nah). My rap sheet is longer than n***as catalogues (What?). Fvck you battle for. (Ugh), you know you ain’t winning (Uh-uh). X been the grim reaper since the beginning (Okay). These new rappers got me like, “What the fvck is you doing?” You all over the place with it, what the fvck is you doing? If you ain’t spitting the truth, then the shut the fvck up (Please). Fvck you, suck my dick, now what.”

While SP, Sheek and Jada also provide their own pretty tough hard-hitting unapologetically raw verses. That sees Styles P keep the streets on lock, while Sheek provides the griminess of the legendary Yonkers trio. Before Kiss closes it out with some very reflective verses on The LOX’s legendary and long-lasting legacy in Hip-Hop.
