With all the protests going on over the last week-plus due to the deaths of George Floyd and the countless others who have died due to police brutality. Singer and songwriter, Trey Songz becomes the latest artist to pen his thoughts on the issue with his new record, Riots 2020: How Many Times.
That sees Songz opening with a voice over. Before over the very soulful backdrop he sings the blues about all the black lives lost due to police brutality. A result of repetitive racial tensions. With a choir singing alongside Songz on the backend of the track to really bring the soul. A portion of proceeds from the song will go towards the Black Lives Matter and the National Bail Fund Network too.
