Problem Drops New Nipsey Hu$$le Tribute Video/Single, Janet Freestyle (Remix)

Compton emcee Problem yesterday shared his very powerful and poignant new Joshy Gonz-directed video for his tribute freestyle remix. Paying homage to his late friend and fellow Los Angeles-bred emcee, Nipsey Hu$$le. With Janet Freestyle (Remix). Obviously inspired by Janet Jackson, it sees frequent Nipsey collaborators, Mike & Keys flip of Ms. Jackson’s classic, Gon Till It’s Gone. Really helping Problem bring some of his finest raps ever. As he raps the importance of life while clearing open space, both figuratively and literally, in the new visual that sees him at a field overlooking the mountains and inside a convenient store. Problem also donning a long goatee and black beanie, the way Nip did to truly literally and figuratively pay homage. The new music video also including clips from Problem’s short film A Compton Story, which contains an original version of the track. That’s set to also be on his upcoming album, Coffee & Kush Vol 1. Which will be released in almost exactly two weeks on May 29th through Diamond Lane Music Group/Rostrum Records.
