2nd Generation WU Continues Wu-Tang Legacy With Debut Of C.R.E.A.M-Inspired Video, 7.0.D

The legacy of the Wu-Tang Clan continues through four sons of the founding members, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, the late great Ol’Dirty Bastard and U-God; PXWER, Sun God, Young Dirty Bastard and iNTeLL.  Who have formed their own group, 2nd Generation WU and debuted their J-GLAZE-produced debut single, 7.0.D, nearly two and a half weeks ago.

With a partial sample and clever flip of the iconic and classic single, C.R.E.A.M. from their legendary fathers, they continue to carry on the Wu-Tang legacy for a newer generation.  Sticking with the old-school flavor, they premiered earlier today through Okayplayer.com the C.R.E.A.M.-inspired new video, which was directed by Young Dirty Bastard.  The new visual finds the members roaming the streets of New York City and more specifically Brooklyn and Staten Island, as they perform the track with little visual tricks, such as black-and-white shots going back to in color shot and then right back into black-and-white shots.  Thus giving the new video that old-school retro-style feel that almost makes you feel like you’re watching C.R.E.A.M. or another classic 90’s Hip-Hop video.
