Fred The Godson Releases New Single, Nokia ft. Benny The Butcher & 38 Spesh

After years of first being recognized nationally with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Big K.R.I.T, YG and the late great Mac Miller, as part of the 2011 XXL Freshmen list, Fred the Godson may soon be set to finally release his long-awaited debut album.  Until than though he’s set to release his new street album, God Level, which will be released this coming Friday, Nov. 15th, after years of mixtapes and collaborations with some of the biggest names in all of Hip-Hop.  That ranges from Diddy to Mill, Jadakiss, The Game, Raekwon, Fat Joe and Joell Ortiz, to name just a few.  Fred and Ortiz even releasing a collaborative EP, Gorilla Glue, all produced by The Heatmakerz at the beginning of the year.  After previously releasing the Jim Jones and Marc Scibilia lead single, Better Now, the New York emcee feeds the streets with his newest single just a couple of days before his next projects release.  In the Benny the Butcher and 38 Spesh featured, Nokia.  Some of that raw street and gutter New York Hip-Hop a lot of us grew up and loved and is perfect for these upcoming Winter months.  Which shows why the three emcees and New York natives are not only three of the top emcees in all of the Big Apple, but among some of best in all of Hip-Hop right now.
