Vakill & Twista Link For Real Chicago Lyrical Exercise In New Video, Vest Check 1, 2

It’s been awhile since we heard something new from legendary Chicago emcee, Vakill.  Eight years or longer to be exact with his last album, Armor of God, dropping in 2011 and quite ironically enough, me and one of my really good friends/homies were just talking about him recently.  Saying how he doesn’t really get the full respect he should for being as dope of an emcee as he’s and how we thought he should be more known than he’s.

So it’s quite crazy that today Vakill links up with fellow legendary Chicago emcee, Twista to put out and premiere the new Aaron J. Davis-directed video for his very vicious new single, Vest Check, 1, 2.  Both Chicago emcees giving a lyrical exercise and body bag with the killer flows and rhyme patterns they use to kill this track to show why they’re not only two of the best emcees in the history of Chicago, but across Hip-Hop period.

Only appropriate they premiere such a killer track/video on Friday the 13th and good to see Vakill back too.  As well as announce that the legendary Chicago emcee will be putting out his long-awaited and sure to be highly-anticipated next solo album, God’s G.U.N.S., later this year or hopefully sometime soon in the near future.
