Only a week and a half after officially making their return with their very fire new single, Flat Tummy Tea, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib are back at it again wrapping up even more heat with the title track, Bandana, from the duos upcoming collaborative sophomore album of the same name. Which the rapper and producer will be dropping later this year via Keep Cool/RCA Records.
The new single, which features Assassin, once again showing the very undeniable chemistry between the two, as Gibbs gives very vivid dope boy tales that only Madlib with his very hazy eeirie instrumental and thumping bass-line could really bring to life so cinematically the way he does of Gangsta Gibbs raps. With Assassin, who many also know as Agent Sasco, providing the perfect hook and mo guns, mo fire closing fire guest verse to the track. That is so flames and makes the duo two-for-two with their recent releases. While also sure to make your anticipation for their new album, which was already high grow that much higher after hearing how just as dope, if not better this is than the last single from the two.
