Ari Lennox and J. Cole’s very silky smooth and amazing collaboration, Shea Butter Baby, which was featured on the Creed II: The Album soundtrack album and predominantly throughout some of the more intimate scenes in the movie gets the visual treatment. As earlier today Vevo premiered the just as silky smooth and sensually sultry new Bennett Johnson-directed video for the very standout collaboration between the two Dreamville reps.
The visual finding the DMV singer coming home to her partner working and not even acknowledging her presence. But that all changes when she strips down to something more sultry and sexy, yet still in a beautifully classy way.
Besides being featured on the Creed II soundtrack it’s also the title track off Ari’s upcoming debut album. The first of many highly-anticipated releases in what’s expected to be a big year for Cole’s Dreamville Records too. It’s also the lone R&B release from the predominantly Hip-Hop based label.
In the meant time though check the very amazing new visual from Ari and Cole, which brings an already great record to life and makes it that much better.
