2018 was quite the year for Benny the Butcher and most of his fellow Griselda labelmates/crew. For Benny it was thanks in large part to his recent album, Tana Talk 3, which was entirely produced by Griselda in-house producer Daringer and the legendary, The Alchemist. While 2019 looks to be another big year for the Buffalo, New York native, as today through Complex he premieres the new Slim Gus-directed video for, Rubber Bands & Weight. That sees him sharpening and chopping up that weight for easily one of the hardest tracks on the album. He had the following to say about the new visual, “This record was inspired by how my neighborhood was like ‘The Carter’ from New Jack City. The streets love this record and my building goes crazy every time I perform this joint! This record helped make Tana Talk 3 a classic; and nobody spitting like this but me!”
