Royce Da 5’9″ Drops Powerful New Video For, Cocaine

Slaughterhouse maybe no more, but two of the members are still making a huge impact in Hip-Hop.  As hours after his former groupmate, KXNG CROOKED dropped new music, Royce Da 5’9″ revisits what’s easily the best solo album of his career last year with, Book of Ryan, by premiering through Vevo the new video for by far one of the best records on the album, the very powerful emotional storytelling track, Cocaine.  Which Royce goes into detail about his father’s drug addiction and how real it hit him and his family as he sings on the hook.  The new visual splitting takes between the Detroit emcee walking the streets and the beach and flashing back to black and white clips of him as a child with his Mom seeing what his Dad had to go through to get over his Cocaine addiction.  It’s a very powerful visual for a very powerful track that truly brings the record to life and you have to watch to see and feel how powerfully and impactful it does so for the very emotionally powerful record that may even make you shed a tear or two.
