Nipsey Hu$$le Caps Off Momentus Year With Celebratory New Video, Victory Lap

Nipsey Hu$$le has had quite the momentous year and to cap off his great year here in 2018, he premiered just a few hours ago on this last day of the year, the very celebratory new Sergio-directed video for the title track off his recently Grammy nominated debut album, Victory Lap.  Making many year-end lists that have already been revealed and perhaps even more yet to be revealed not only for one of the best rap albums of the year, but even for one of the best albums of the year across all music, it’s nice to see after many years of grinding Neighborhood Nip finally getting the recognition he has long deserved, as he takes it back to the intro from the album that started it all.  With the very brassy and conspicuously large score on the Mike & Keys-produced opening title track along with Stacy Barthe’s hallowing heavenly vocals, which started it all truly being brought to life with his motivational and inspiring lyrics for the just as inspiring visuals.  That show Neighborhood Nip taking it from his hometown of Crenshaw with his day one homies to flashes to him finally enjoying the fruits of his labor and success with a very memorable trip to Mexico and the different landmarks he enjoyed both land and sea, while there.  As he reflects on all the work he put in over the years to enjoy this success and be such a motivation and inspiration to not only his hood, but everyone of his fans he touches his music with and the new ones he will still gain to inspire and motivate.
