Ravyn Lenae Gives Off Classic Old-School Vibes In New Video, The Night Song

Ravyn Lenae has had quite a big 2018 and currently on tour opening for another very great rising R&B/Soul singer/songwriter talent in Jorja Smith, it doesn’t look to be slowing down as we enter the final month of the year.  That success being in large part to Lenae’s very critically-acclaimed latest EP, CRUSH, which she released towards the very beginning of the year and was solely produced by Steve Lacy, she decides to revisit said project.  As through a premiere with Vevo early Friday, the very talented Chicago native gave us a classic old-school feeling new Weird Life-directed video for easily the best song on the EP, The Night Song.  The new visual finding Lenae all dressed up, as she performs and sings the very perfect smooth late night jam at a night club with a lightened up stage and disco ball.  Appearing to perform the record which will literally have you fall in love as you listen to her very soothing heavenly angelic vocals on display, there is a twist at the end that will shock you.  But it’s a truly stunning great visual, which is shot so perfectly and with its colorfully great and amazing 70’s R&B-like aesthetics really brings the record to life in a way that let’s you know what a truly great artist Ravyn is and is easily her best one to date.
