With all that’s going on in America in these current controversial times, Chicago emcee, The Boy Illinois, continues to show why he’s not only arguably the greatest emcee in all of Chicago right now, but one of the top artists in the city and all of Hip-Hop period right now.  Especially with the introspective messages he continues to deliver and enlighten others with, while also pushing the envelope that made other previous legendary emcee’s like Ice Cube, Chuck D, and alike so great in their times.  Which he does yet again with his very powerful new DGainz-directed video, PTSD (Post Traumatic Slave Disorder).  A very powerful shot black-and-white visual, which finds Illi along with fellow Chicago great, J. Ivy addressing the mental health issues black communities and so many others in many other urban areas face that nobody really wants to talk about.  Especially here in many parts of our own hometown of Chicago, where the very powerfully shot visual shows the harsh realities of so many urban communities, not only here in Chicago, but several other urban communities of America from the past, present and future.  Get acquainted with the wise and powerfully spoken words of the two Chicago greats below.
