Sabrina Claudio Delivers Sensually Smooth, Yet Upbeat New Single, Don’t Let Me Down feat. Khalid

Just a couple days after delivering her very amazing latest single, All To You, very beautifully talented singer/songwriter, Sabrina Claudio is already back with a new single, Don’t Let Me Down featuring fellow rising singer/songwriter, Khalid.  A very sensually smooth, yet upbeat new record that finds the singer singing in a whisper, the sultry vulnerable lyrics over the very smooth, yet upbeat drums of the Sad Money production, while Khalid brings the soulful vibes to the loving new record.  Which celebrates the chances of a budding romance and the possibilities of disappointment in that budding relationship as well.  The two talented artists singing so seamlessly and beautifully the amazingly written harmony that makes the record so great.  Claudio having the following to say in a statement about the very amazing new collaboration and record, “(The song is) about showing the vulnerable side of you and asking them, no matter what you do, just don’t prove me right.  Don’t give me a reason to be guarded again.”

Also adding in a brief video with Zane Lowe’s Beats 1, who premiered the record today, the following about how organically the collaboration came together.  “I had the whole song written but I was like, ‘This is missing something.’  I’m quite picky with features,’  Besides the fact that I want to be personal with whoever I have a feature with, vocally it’s really important for me that it just fits.  So Khalid came to mind.  I just sent him the song over text and I was like, ‘Tell me what you think.  Honestly, I hear your voice on this.  If you’re willing to jump on it I’d be honored.  Khalid knocked the track out the next day.”

You can hear the very amazing new collaboration from Claudio and Khalid below and look for a new video for it to come soon as well.  It’s likely that both records, which Sad Money produced, will be on Claudio’s upcoming highly-anticipated debut album, which she’s being very tight lipped about, but expected to drop sometime this year.  Sad Money set to executive produce the project being one of the only reveals besides the two singles so far.
