U-God Drops Eye-Popping, Digitally Enhanced New Video, For, Epicenter feat. Raekwon, Inspectah Deck & Scotty Wotty

Wu-Tang Clan member, U-God today drops the very dope new eye-popping and digitally enhanced new Brann-directed video for his very classic lead single, Epicenter, off his just recently released new solo album, Venom.  Premiered earlier today through RollingStone, the brand new visual, finds U-God along with fellow Wu members, Raekwon and Inspectah Deck, as well as Wu-Tang associate, Scotty Wotty, repping Wu-Tang Clan across the globe.  As they appear in different exotic locales laying down their killer verses in the digitally enhanced visual, that’s very reminiscent of the great and very cutting edge early Wu-Tang videos.  U-God having the following to say to Rolling Stone in a statement about the new visual, “We went wild with our imaginations to make a video that had no creative boundaries.  I believe it ranks up there with some of the CLAN’s early videos which were so cutting edge and push the envelope to the max.”  Which you can really tell and feel, as you watch the video open with U-God driving a motorcycle on a deserted, lightning-lit road that cuts to the emcee riding a snowmobile through a sky.  INS later riding a helicopter and rolling dice near the Great Sphinx of Giza and Raekwon holding court near the Eiffel Tower.  While Scotty Wotty delivers his fire verses in front of a literal fire by a Chinese Shaolin Kung Fu temple and later a ship decorated with a Wu flag.  The visual for the DJ Green Lantern-produced track that has that classic Wu sound, really helps bring the track truly to life in easily not only the best Hip-Hop video to drop so far this year, but one of the best of the past few years and honestly speaking one of the best released across all music so far this year.  As you watch the new visual below, you really will feel like you’re being taking back to the 90’s with the groups groundbreaking and boundary pushing early videos that helped make Wu-Tang Clan so legendary.
