Hip-Hop Westcoast powerhouse label, Top Dawg Entertainment, was already on the verge of a huge 2018, with R&B/Soul crooner SiR’s just released debut album, November and the Black Panther soundtrack, curated by Kendrick Lamar and TDE CEO/founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith being set to be released in the coming weeks, as well as Jay Rock’s highly-anticipated third solo album, set to drop soon after.

That’s not including the possible Grammy wins for Kendrick and SZA, who are among the most nominated artists for next weekend’s Grammy Awards in NYC.  With seven and five, respectively for their mostly critically-acclaimed albums, DAMN. and Ctrl, which they both released year, as part of a huge 2017, for both them and the label, that seen both land on several year-end lists for best albums of the year as well.

So it’s only right that today the label announce that for the first time since the labels early days, virtually all of the label will go on tour with of course Kendrick and SZA, as well as original TDE members Rock, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, among the headliners.  Dubbed, TDE: The Championship Tour, it will also feature newer TDE artists, SiR and Lance Skiiiwalker.

Starting May 4th in Vancouver, B.C. and concluding June 16th in Pittsburgh, P.A., the near six-week and 29-date North American tour, presented by Live Nation, will hit several big U.S. and Canada stops as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, Houston, Boston, Atlanta and more.
