Just a few short hours ago, Jhené Aiko premiered through Vevo, the highly-anticipated new video for her newly released remix version of her hit record, Sativa featuring Rae Sremmurd. The original version from Jhené’s mostly critically-acclaimed sophomore album, TRIP, released last year featured just Swae Lee, while the newer version that she decided to do visuals for features Slim Jxmmi as well, to get the full Rae Sremmurd treatment. The very trippy and psychedelic new video, seeing the very talented singer/songwriter taking a trip with Rae Sremmurd into the future and really matching the very trippy, psychedelic overall vibe of the song really bringing the record to life. As Lee and his Sremmurd groupmate, Slim Jxmmi unlock a touch-screen portal and are transported into a dreamlike world that they meet Jhené up at. As she shows off several trippy looks throughout that includes a red contact-sporting beauty, a vulnerable damsel in a nude bikini, a leather-wearing seductress and a mysterious card dealer. The very sci-fi and futuristic clip, is one that really makes you think can this really be what are future may truly look like in the way it really truly brings the very amazing and trippy record to life.
